Types of Fitness and Exercise for BodyBuilding

Fitness is a general state of being healthy and well being, it is also known as the ability to fulfill day to day tasks without getting exhausted. Fitness can be achieved by following proper exercising and dieting.

Fitness and exercise are a key attribute that can increase the overall functionality of our health such as mental health and physical health. Regular exercises and diets should be effectively followed to maintain a good fitness, it is a time consuming and energy consuming process. But the result of this process can significantly affect your life’s performance with increased productivity. To be fit is completely depends upon an individual’s choice and effort, there are no external factors that can make you fit.

Fitness can be broadly categorized into six types :

1. Cardiovascular Fitness

Cardiovascular fitness is also known as Aerobic fitness. Cardiovascular fitness refers to the capacity of your heart, lungs and organs to efficiently transport and deliver oxygen to working muscles. Regular aerobic exercise can improve the condition of heart, lungs and other vital organs. Some of the most common aerobic activity or cardiovascular activities are running, cycling, swimming and dancing.

2. Muscular strength Fitness

Muscular strength refers to the capacity of your muscles to do activities. Usually relates to weight training and doing certain repetitions to improve your muscle strength. The important thing that you should have to understand while doing strength training is not to workout for the same specific muscle more than once every 48 hours. If you do, it can severely damage your muscle tissues which in turn lead to diverse injurious. Some of the most suitable examples of muscular strength activities are pull ups, push ups, dumbbell curls, leg squats.

3. Muscular Endurance Fitness

Muscular endurance refers to the ability of your muscles to continuously work against resistance for an extended period of time. Muscular endurance is very important in the field of sports such as hockey, tennis, football, etc. Muscular endurance fitness can be improved by following any cardiovascular or aerobic activity such as running, swimming, dancing for a long time.

4. Flexibility

Flexibility which is also known as limberness is the state of being full range motion of every joint in your body without any difficulty. Flexibility is different in various joints, flexibility in some joints can be increased to a certain extend by exercise. There are many benefits of getting flexible, benefits such as prevents risk of injury, reduces lower back pain, increases blood flow rate and so on.

5. Body Composition

Human bodies are made of water, protein, minerals and fat. Body composition refers to the proportion of fat, bone, water and muscle in human bodies. Try to maintain a good fitness in all these five categories that help you to significantly improve the condition of health.

6. BodyBuilding

Bodybuilding habit can influence your life in a positive and good manner. For example, when a chain smoker starts weight training, he will realize that he cannot achieve his dream physique condition without quitting the smoking habit. So that bodybuilding provides a great opportunity to stop all kinds of bad habits such as alcohol consumption, smoking, etc. Besides stopping bad habits, there are other benefits such as improve bodily health, weight management, increase bone density, prevent injury, improve performance, feel smart and look great and so on. It is always difficult to explain about overall benefits of bodybuilding because there is that much betterment from bodybuilding or weight training.

When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. It includes health benefits such as strengthens your heart, increases energy level, lowers blood pressure, improves muscle tone and growth, strengthen your bones, reduce body fat, makes you look fit and healthy.

First of all, you have to formulate a plan which contains a suitable workout and diet programs to build your desired physique. This enables you to train your body efficiently and effectively in a disciplined manner.
